As an independent, non-profit organization, we rely on contributors like you to help sustain our $25.5 million annual consumer product testing program.

Consumer Reports accepts no advertising or corporate contributions.  We purchase everything we test at retail prices.  Your contributions enable us to maintain that impeccable integrity.  

The special support of contributing members and subscribers is essential to the ongoing strength of the Consumer Reports Foundation.  


Donor Benefits Levels:

  • Contributing Members: $30 and Over
    • Bi-annual issues of Inside Consumer Reports newsletter
    • "Behind the Scenes" e-mail updates
    • Special publication offers
  • Leadership Circle Silver Level: $100-249.99
    • Receive a one-year subscription to ConsumerReports.org.  (If you are a current subscriber, your subscription will be extended by one year.)
  • Leadership Circle Gold Level: $250-499.99
    • Receive a one-year subscription to ConsumerReports.org 
    • Either a one-year subscription to Consumer Reports Magazine OR one-year subscription to ShopSmart Magazine. (If you are a current subscriber, your subscription will be extended by one year.)

  • Leadership Circle Platinum Level: $500-999.99 
    • Receive a one-year subscription to Consumer Reports Magazine, ShopSmart Magazine, and ConsumerReports.org 
    • Either a one-year subscription to Consumer Reports Money Adviser OR one-year subscription to Consumer Reports on Health. (If you are a current subscriber, your subscription will be extended by one year.) 
    • President's Circle Concierge Service - availabe for one inquiry
  • President's Circle Level: $1,000+ 
    • Receive access for one-year to all Consumer Reports publications and Consumer Reports online

A portion of your contribution will not be tax deductible to the extent you accept the benefits associated with the donor level.  Each Consumer Reports subscription has a retail value of $30.  You may increase the value of your donation if you chose not to accept some or all of the benefits associated with your donor level.
