Comment:

The loudness of the compressor seems a trait of the model line since this is the *second* unit installed here. When the first one was very loud when the compressor cycled on, it was replaced with another sample of the identical model. The second one is loud, too. I had installers tighten the installation, etc., and that helped for a while, but then there was enough vibration that it started becoming noisy again a few days later. Other than that it works very well.
