The control panel on the unit is so small that it's basically unusable; you end up just using the remote control. The worst feature of the Frigidaires is that every time you change temp, air speed, etc the unit makes a loud electronic beep which is very annoying. When you are half asleep and simply want to change a setting, that loud beep will wake you and anyone else in the room. Don't recommend this unit in a room where you want to sleep, there must be better ones out there.

For a small room, it is quiet. It cools like a mother. Did I mention it is is quiet? And for an average retail price of 170 bux? LOL, a no brainer.Get it.P.S. My model is the FAA0068P7A, but it is the same BTU rating as this. Not sure what the differences might be. (I got mine at [...]).
