We bought this unit to cool our TV room and Kitchen to supplement the large wall unit we use for the living room. Works very well in assisting the large unit and has been reliable for 2 summers. Really like that this unit turns off at the desired temp until more cooling is called for.

I am very happy with this air conditioner. We bought it to get us through until we could replace our central air. Easy to install. I do agree the beep when you press the buttons is a little loud but I don't change the settings all that much.

This air conditioner works great. It is installed in my kitchen and cools both the kitchen and living room (about 500 sq. feet total) beautifully. It also keeps the bedrooms comfortable enough to sleep, with the help of a fan aimed down the hallway. The energy saver control is great. Only drawback: the buttons are a little loud when pressed.
