By Roger B from Katonah, NY on 7/11/2009
Pros:
Easy MaintenanceCleaning, Multiple 4 Speeds, Quite at LowMedium Speed, Stylish Exterior
Cons:
Comparatively Expensive, Noisy on Highest Speed
Best Uses:
Family Room, Finished basement, Kitchen, Living Room
How long have you owned it:
More than six months
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
We have owned BlueAir air purifiers for over 5 years and have been very happy with them. They are quiet on low and medium speeds. My main reason for buying them was their quietness together with research I did that indicated that they filtered more air than most comparable units. We rarely use on the highest speed which is quite loud, but you could use the high speed when nobody is in the room. You might want to turn down to lowest speed if listening to music.
