I have model # sold by HD.
Using in the basement.
The original unit started freezing up after 24 months.
Its refurbished warranty replacement stopped dehumidifying after about 12 months.
The local service center claims an unusually high warranty replacement rate on this model due to refrigerant leaks.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Comment:
This is my 3rd dehumidifier. LG one only lasted less than 1 year. Just stopped working. Replaced once with one that was so loud, shook whole house. 2nd replacement back was not glued on right. Didn't work.
Now they want me to drive over 50 miles to take this
64 lb thing in. I have 5 year warranty and can't use the darn thing. Afraid will start fire, shakes, loud,
no moisture being drawn out. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!!
NOW I WILL NOT BUY ANY LG PRODUCTS, THIS DID IT FOR ME.
