I had this model a little more than a year before it burned up. It was always temperamental to use and tended to get pieces left whole, and the control button markings came off after only a few months, so I was the only one who could operate it!

Sounds like a jet engine with bad bearings. Looks great, like stainless steel but the body is cheap plastic. Feels very poorly built. We returned it without using it much.
