Bought this coffee maker in February. Less than one month later I had to order a replacement combination lid and retainer clips because the clips would not hold the lid firmly enough to seal the dispenser which then would not dispense coffee. Now, after three months I have the same problem. It seems to be faulty materials in the clips, poor design or both. In any case I would deninately not recommend this product nor would I purchase this or any other Mr. Coffee product because their quality control is suspect at best.

I purchaced it cause it was highly recommended by CR. First time using it I just filled it with plain water to clean it out, but nothing came out of the dispenser, I can hear the little pump motor working as I pushed in the dispenser lever but nothing came out. Maybe I did something wrong, followed the instrutions, 2nd time filled with coffee, didn't work the 2nd time, tried it a 3rd time, but cleaned and flushed out the reservoir, still didn't work, but I found out if I would slightly slide out and push back in the reservoir it would pour a 1/3 cup from the dispenser then stop. Then to make it worse the coffee started to drip from the dispenser without moving the lever and made a mess on my counter and floor! Thats it! Took it back, purchaced a Proctor Silex #43672!

I drink coffee everyday & I wanted a good coffeemaker. I had seen A Hamilton Beach dispenser coffeemaker so I put that on layaway without knowing my daughter had bought this Mr Coffeemaker so I returned the Hamilton Beach, ( now wished I hadnt. It worked for about 2 weeks, it would stop brewing after making maybe a cup of coffee, I would have to start it over for about 6 or more times to get a complete pot of coffee,& the coffee tasted different that than when I first got it. I have had to return the coffemaker 3 times now am going on my fourth time of exchanging the coffeemaker, But this time I was told that they was out of them, it will be about 4 to 6 weeks, before they get some in, so I have to go & buy another coffeemaker, which really upsets me.<br /> Mr Coffee is nice about exchanging it and they do pay for the shipping & handling, its just this is so fraustrating & a unconvience to get a coffeemaker that only works for a couple weeks & have to exchange it all the time. <br />I looked on their online ordering and didnt see any of these coffeemakers on the order on line page, but it was in there to show what kind of coffeemakers they do have. <br />Maybe they are working out the bugs in these coffeemakers and will come out with a decent one that works. years ago when Mr Coffee first came out with automatic coffeemakers. <br />I bought one of their first ones, it lasted me forever. So I am hoping they will get the bugs worked out on this one as I like my coffee!!!!!<br />I hope they have a different way of adding the water, as it always spills all over my counter & floor, its a mess.

I got this for christmas. After about 1 month of use it quit making a whole pot of coffee. It will make about 2 cups and then stop. I have to keep pressing the on and off switch several times to finally get a whole pot. I have tried unplugging it and resetting the time. Nothing works. I am very disappointed.
