Comment:
I really like this coffee brewer. The price was [$] and I'm thinking of buying a second one to take on vacations. Easy to use and has two brew settings, plus a timer. The only down side that I have found is that when you pull out the carafe while it's still brewing it tends to leak a few drops onto the hot plate. That may be my own fault as I have found that if I pull the carafe out slow enough, it doesn't drip.

Comment:
Brews coffee OK but drips from the basket when you remove the pot. It is actually more than drips, it spills water onto the hotplate from under the basket. The design is poor and allows condensation to build all over the insides. This moisture builds up and the only way out is to get under the basket and drop onto the hot plate. Once you remove the pot, the basket no longer has any pressure to tightly seal it in its place and thus the liquid escapes onto the pot. In addition, the cleaning cycle doesn't work. It is supposed to cycle through the cleaning liquid, rest and then finish up. Instructions say it should take 60 minutes. Mine turned itself off after 30 and I had to manual brew the rest of the cleaning solution. Would not buy another and will probably trash this one. If you're not careful, the hot water will burn you when you remove the pot.
