Comment:
Saeco purchased by Phillips. Giro not now manufactured or supported. Repair center said it was hard to repair. Our first was replaced because it malfunctioned within warranty. The replacement lasted 3 years. Saeco has outrsourced its repair facility.

Comment:
Husband uses for 1-2 cups each morning. Bought for hubby as special (extravagant) gift. In 18 months since initially purchased, we have had it repaired 4 times. Very finicky machine with ultra sensitive sensors. Grinder appears to jam very easily, esp with dark roast Starbucks espresso type coffee. Warranty never covered issues (never could get straight answer why this was the case) despite this being $700'machine. Have now spent more on repairs than on machine! Husband loves coffee it makes, but unreliability and cost of repairs make it highly disappointing purchase.

Comment:
I have owned this machine for just under 2 years, and it is awesome. This machine is used from morning to evening. Single cups whenever you want. As others noted the water container is a little on the small side, but not a problem. I would highly recommend it.
