About - KitchenAid KUDD03DT[WH]

Washing:
Washing performance is assessed by running the normal or equivalent cycle to clean a full load--10 place settings of very dirty dishes that were scraped but not rinsed. We examine the dishes and glassware after cleaning for residual food.

This is for a normal cycle. The largest portion is needed for heating water, both at the water heater and in the machine.

Comment:
One thing I require in a dishwasher is that it cleans. This dishwasher falls short. I have tried everything to improve it's performance but all I can say is what a waste of money. I had a repairman out and he stated he couldn't do anything. Half the time the drawers won't close properly or open mid cycle. Unless you completely rinse off every piece of food it just doesn't clean it. It is loud and runs for hrs. The concept was cool- drawer dishwashers but execution fails.

I purchased Kitchenaid Dish Drawers one year ago. I'm giving them away for free because they are worthless. Kitchenaid should be ashamed to put its name on such a lousy product. I read negative reviews but dismissed them thinking the new model was better. I can barely fit anything in these drawers. The loading is terribly awkward, but what is worse is that this dishwasher has never cleaned my dishes well. I made three service calls and finally gave up. It's a worthless machine. I read the manual. I called the company and I had the technicians tell me it should work, but I always ended up with dirty dishes. After one year I've decided to buy a Bosch. I essentially gave away a lot of money.

Comment:
I've always loved KitchenAid. Every appliance I own is KitchenAid until I made my final purchase in October 2010. After being told by KitchenAid there can be no replacement for a dishwasher that does not wash dishes, the representative said, It's not about the performance as long as it functions. The repair men said, There is nothing here to be fixed.

I have a lemon that has no law. One must have three repairs to receive justice.
