Washing:
Washing performance is assessed by running the normal or equivalent cycle to clean a full load--10 place settings of very dirty dishes that were scraped but not rinsed. We examine the dishes and glassware after cleaning for residual food.

Comment:
this dishwasher was by far my worst experience with dishwashers in my life! After two years the control panel doesn't work right. Whirlpool says sorry, so does [...] that sold it. Replacement of control panel is as expensive as a new dishwasher. Conclusion: Don't buy this!

Comment:
very good washer...just keep the service plan going because the tub cracked and there's no repair for that. don't even know if that's included in the service plan, i think only if you have a replacement service plan.
anyway plan to buy a new dishwasher in 5yrs.
everything made today will breakdown in 5-10 years. i have a ge dishwasher in another location for 20yrs. it works.
sorry.
