I purchased this unit last February.
It has never washed properly.
In the last month 2 separate warranty service reps have been out.
The first one told me that I have not been doing a good enough job of pre washing the dishes so the arms were clogged.
While cleaning them, he broke the top arm
When he came back to replace the top arm. he added that the dishes weren't not drying because I didn't use enough jet dry so I would have to dry by hand ,and that the arms were clogging because I didn't pre wash well enough
I told him to leave and never come back.
I called customer service and they sent out a new company

the rep today told me that even on time delay or overnight settings I must run the hot water prior to starting the unit. And that since the water wasn't hot enough; the undisolved detergent was clogging the spray arms
This was confirmed by your phone support person who told me that for best results that's what I had to do.
The resulti want is for the thing to wash dishes.

It doesn't do that.

The current rep ordered a heater, motor pump and spray arms.

my previous dishwasher operated perfectly( until the pump failed) for the 18 years I have lived in this house plus however long it was here before I moved in
I will never buy a whirlpool product or anything built by subsidies or parent AGAIN

This is very aweful to hear others but now I'm in the same boat .. exactly after 2yrs now, the Dishwasher leak water underneath which we didn't notice until we see the wood around swelled out :( this is worst design on such leaks without any alarm. Now I'm out of warranty and not sure what to do :(

I have owned this dishwasher for 2 1/2 years, and now there are suds dripping on the floor directly from the motor. The dishes and cookware had fish, therefore the kitchen smells like spoiled fish with dishwasher suds. Wish me luck.
