Main Circiut Board falied after one year. Repaired under contract(good service) Main circuit failed again after 2 1/2 years. Definitely poor quality<br />materials. Control design allows steam from cooking surfacev to enter electronic contol panel space. Technician says I should only cook hot/steamy items on front Burners. Will not Buy this brand again

New LG electric range produces elec fire

Right out of the box my LG electric range model LRE30453sb began cracking and popping in the first 5 minutes of oven use. I did elect to turn on the convection fan at startup, but the indicator didn't illuminate on the display. After 5 minutes heavy smoke bellowed from the vent on the left side of the display. Smelled like an electrical fire.(retired firefighter). No smoke in the oven at all. These units should be recalled. I have read of other instances of the convection fan causing fires in these units. No more LG for me.

I have had LG out twice to look at the cook top. There customer service is the worst I have ever encountered. No help what so ever. Even told me I did not know how to clean the top. Saving to buy another range and throw it one to the trash
