Comment:

Oven and broiler presets are defaults which adds an appreciated level of convenience. Instructions are incomplete for the LP gas conversion.

Product Failure: After 29 months in service the ceramic fireproof tray that holds the heating elements began to crack on the two large front burners due to expansion/contraction of materials under heat. Poor choice in material used in manufacture of ceramic tray. The largest and most heavily used burner (triple element, front right) failed on month 29 due to a break in the heating element caused by the cracking of the ceramic tray. Contacted Maytag customer service and requested escalation to customer service manager who was unsympathetic because product warranty expired after 1 year. Replacement part was expensive but at least it was easy to install by an electrically knowledgeable handy-person.
