I use this product daily for our young family of 5. The best parts are the quick boil, even oven temp and broiler. Our local store sells this model over all others 3 to 1. Function first...and it looks great in my kitchen.

Comment:
I have now owned this stove for about one and a half years.

Pros:

If I take 20 minutes to clean the top, it looks almost brand new. I cook several major meals a week and I'm a messy cook.

The oven and broiler are fantastic. The convection oven allows you to bake cookies on the top and middle shelves and they come out identically. This is the best non-commercial oven and electric broiler I've ever used.

Cons:

In spite of the temperature dials, the stovetop has two settings: very hot and too hot to simmer. It was repaired under warranty (the tech said me he found nothing wrong, but replaced the controls anyhow). It still has the same problem. My sister in law has the same stove and it functions identically. To simmer, I put a spacer under the pot (just like the ancient stove I replaced).

The very hot setting cannot properly drive a wok, but I stopped using the wok because it slides around on the smoothtop. The very hot setting will burn just about anything if you don't keep a really close eye on things.

The two large burners are in the front, meaning if you use two large pots they crowd each other.

Final thoughts:

For the longest time, I assumed it was a learning curve issue, but we recently rented a vacation condo with an old bottom of the line garbage electric stove and I was able to create meals without problems. I have concluded this stove top is terrible. Two stars for the superb oven and broiler.

oven glass stained beyond repair

Comment:
After owning this range for thirteen months and running the oven cleaner, the glass discolored so badly that it can't be cleaned. I checked with customer relations and was informed that they won't do anything about this because it is a cosmetic problem. They gave me instructions on how to remove the door and associated hardware. I found that there were several screws missing that held the glass retaining plate to the glass. This obviously allowed cooking debris and grease to enter the glass area and cause the problem. After several e-mails, customer relations informed me that nothing could be done and we would just have to put up with an eye-sore of an oven in our kitchen.
