I think a stove should last for years--our last one still worked after 20 years (and minor repairs) However, this one is going to have a major repair after 7 years. Like one other reviewer said, the oven started over-heating and wouldn't stop!! Luckily, it started beeping continuously and warned me or we could have had a serious fire. I had set it at 170 F. to warm plates and it was extremely hot! when it started beeping and flashed ERR on the display. It is going to cost about $300.00 to repair--not worth it!

The two large burners keep going out. They heat-up and then stop. Lots of ruined meals.
