Comment:
The large, high powered burners are simply too big in diameter to only be coming out of the edges. This range really needs top-output burners. The flames come out of the side of the burner, and leave a large cool spot in the middle. This is with top-quality thick and heavy pots and pans, so I can only imagine how bad it would be with cheap pots and pans. Using a fairly large pasta pot, much of the flame goes up around the side, which is inefficient.

Cleaning is not too bad as long as you clean up anytime you spill. The grate come off easily and the cook-top underneath is easy to wipe down.

The oven is superb. I have made some of the best baked goods in my life in the oven. There are multiple settings to use, that vary the convection effects. The self-cleaning feature works very well. The broiler is ok. I don't like having the oven controls on the back of the cook-top. I had a different range with them on the front, and that was much more satisfactory.

I would not buy this range again.

Comment:
I used the oven only about once a week. The ignition (made of plastic parts) melted and broke when the oven was less than 2 years old. It is expensive to replace, and there are two of them, one for the range and one for the oven, so I'm worried about the second one going out too.

I like the grate configuration.
