This microwave worked great for me. Bought it in Sept of '09 and it just barely started making weird noises &tripping the GFCI. I have it unplugged at the moment since it's making noises as if it were on when the door is closed & not in use. We got great use out of this microwave; using it 5-10 times per day for just about anything for over 3.5 yrs. I used the grilling part only once & was not impressed, I never used it again. The microwave part was great...now to go replace it :)

My husband cooks in it frequently my kids use it for popcorn and reheating. The interior is rusting and sparking. Store will not replace and unable to contact Emerson. Would not recommend at all!

Holy cow!! This microwave is downright dangerous! DO NOT BUY! Type in Emerson microwave recall...even the specific model number, you will find hundreds of similar complaints to mine!! After several months of use, my Emerson MWG9115SL started arcing, sparking, caught fire. There are burn marks on the inside. It started out doing it once in a while and I thought, maybe its the dish. Nope! I wouldnt walk away from it because I didnt trust it. My friend was over one day and mentioned hers was doing the same thing. So I looked it up! DO NOT BUY!!! Emerson knows about this problem and does NOTHING!! Someone is going to die!
