Comment:
I have had to return 2 of these identical microwave ovens in a month. The first just quit working after 7 days although the clock still worked. I took it back for a relacement and the second one continued to work but after 10 days the bulb blew. I wouldn't mind if it was easy to change as I would have probably done that but you have to take the whole thing apart to change the bulb and that would probably void the warrant. I'm returning it for a refund and will not buy another GE made in China.

Comment:
Previous microwave was 20 years old and stopped working. I was willing to pay more thinking I would get a better built unit. Died at the end of the warranty and the service is almost imposible to use as they will only come to your house during business hours and the cost of just finding out the cost of the repair is $90 plus a day off work and the cost of parts is super high. Would have been glad to take it in but not an option.
How long have you owned it:
More than six months
Bottom Line
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Comment:
Make sure you have the counter space for this unit before you buy it. Alot of interior room, great for large plates. This is it's downfall too, it's hard to say you use it to it's potential very often. It's hard to justify the cost and size when it's mostly half full when you turn it on.
How long have you owned it:
One-to-three months
Bottom Line
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
