I had this microwave, after 2 months it just quit working on the worst possible day (christmas day).<br />thermostat problem. It took 2 months to get it fix. <br />Will see how long will it last.

I bought this microwave because Consumer Reports recommended it and the price.<br /><br />Possibly this problem is related to the cold. Our microwave is installed on an outside wall. Sometimes when I start the microwave the fan and the light do not go on and it makes a weird noise. This happens on particularly cold days in the winter.<br /><br />If I open and shut the door or hit the microwave with my palm it then operates as it should. <br /><br />I feel this is a defect and I should not have to pay to get this fixed.

Fairly easy to install with one person. Worked fine for 14 months with no issues accept a vibration that made noise. Fan very loud on high but we didn't use it much. Went to heat something yesterday and it just quit. No power, no nothing. Outlet works but microwave is history. Expensive for <14 months of use.
