THIS IS MY SECOND UNIT AND STILL THE SAME PROBLEM OF BEATERS FALLING OUT OF UNIT,IT APPEARS THAT THE LOCKING MECH IS MADE OF PLASTIC AND WHEN IN USE PIECES FALL INTO THE MIX.(not good).I CALLED THE COMPANY AND THEY SENT A NEW UNIT OUT AND AFTER THE SECOND UNIT BROKE THE SAME WAY ,GUESS WHAT NO MORE WARRANTY.I GOT MAYBE 1 AND HALF YEARS OUT OF BOTH UNITS.WHAT A PIECE OF JUNK.

The inside plastic screw holders broke apart and allowed the whole motor system to just fall out...I got so mad I just threw it away. Hamilton/Beach use to be a quality product...but I will never buy another item they make.
