The removable ice bucket isn't actually removable since it freezes up constantly. We've had Thermador come out twice to look at the issue and the tech had to unfreeze the bucket. Was told we have to use ice maker every single day or else it will freeze up again. This is certainly a manufacturer's defect. Also, the water filter is incredibly difficult to change. For such an expensive appliance, I would have expected much better quality.

We use our kitchen a lot. We have a large family and we really need the 48 version. I have been disappointed with this product from the start. The water dispenser was broken upon arrival. The door shelving is a poor design. The meat bin doesn't open enough for easy access. The ice dispenser broke and after repair ($300+) barely works. The freezer freezes on the bottom but ice cream melts on the top. Would NEVER purchase this product again.

This was one of CR top choices for built ins. I can't imagine why?? The drawers always come off track and do not feel sturdy. They feel cheap and not like the price I paid. The ice machine clogs a lot and does not shoot ice into cup. When it clogs you have to turn off whole refrigerator to deice build up in removable ice container. The stainless steel is a nightmare to keep clean especially from the dripping water from dispenser. CR should live with their products before recommending! I am going to sell this one and try to recoup some of the money I wasted!
