Best Uses
2nd Refrigerator
Office Fridge
Comment:
This small refrigerator is located in our unheated garage and is used for secondary storage. It worked satisfactorily for about 1-1/2 years. Then, it became glitchy in that it would not hold cold temperatures at times. Finally, it seems to have died completely. It will not become cold. I presume the compressor is gone. We have another similar unit from Emerson that has lasted over 3 years at our office and is still working well. I am unhappy with the short life of this unit and probably would not purchase another from Haier.

Comment:
The compressor lasted just over 4 years. We kept this in a finished/heated basement wet bar area. It looked great, and kept a couple of cases of beer and mixers cold for that length of time. Unfortunately, the compressor died and it would cost more than a new fridge to replace (including the labor and shipping). So, depending on how long you expect one to last, this could be a good fridge for you.
