This fridge replaced our 25+ year old side-by-side. I was thrilled with the ABUNDANCE of in-door storage for the fridge; and they are height-adjustable, too! All our milk now goes in the door, saving all them shelves for food/etc. The drawers keep our vegetables and cold-cuts/cheeses/yogurts amazingly fresh! The freezer has a ton of room compared to our old one. The ice maker is fast, and not noisy at all! The only 2 negatives I can think of is the crushed ice option... when it crushes the cubes, it shoots them out with such force they go flying all over the floor! Crazy. So I decided just to not crush my ice unless it's filling a BIG pitcher that can catch all the angles with which the ice flies-LOL! Also, the dispenser system for the water could be a little taller to hold an average pitcher. I'm a stay-at-home mom with 2 kids that I homeschool, so that fridge is in CONSTANT use; the water filter is amazingly efficient. We've had the fridge for 9 months now and still doesn't need a filter change, and water still tastes great! No problems with the fridge keeping temperature, either, with all the times it's opened and closed during the day. Buy this fridge, you won't regret it!

We had a Maytag French Door style refrigerator that died a premature death (5 years, 1 month) and decided to spend a little less money on a replacement. The refrigerator was delivered/installed on a Friday, and by Saturday night the ice coming out of the ice maker was slush. By Sunday morning, we had a large puddle in front of the refrigerator and a freezer full of thawing meat and formerly frozen foods. To make matters worse, it happened on a Sunday, so neither the manufacturer or the retailer [...] could do anything for us. Thankfully we have a 2nd refrigerator in the garage, which is now packed beyond capacity while we wait on a replacement. This purchase will go down as one of my bigger mistakes.
