It works fine, heats well and is used as an alternate for my oven. I have done everything from broiling cheese chips and toast to baking pizza and baked potatoes. I have even used it to roast a tri-tip steak. However, I won't do that again because cleaning it is a challenge.

After 6 months it broke, got a replacement and same thing after 6 months. I had a Cuisinart for 7 years and after some wear and tear decided to replace it with the Breville. Still waiting for one to last more than 6 months. At least their customer service is very good.

We really liked this product. It served us well on a daily basis until the other day when it just quit on us. We plan to see how much it costs to get fixed, but it was a lot of money to spend on a product that simply didn't last.
