I've had this oven for at least 4 years now. I got it because of the small footprint - I don't need to cook a lot in it. However, the amount of space is exceptionally small. I can't even fit in 2 slices of pizza. The heating elements are positioned so that it is very easy to burn items on their surface. The toaster does not work well either. Nothing has ever come out of it evenly browned and I can't tell you how many times/how often whatever I have put into the slot gets stuck and won't pop back up. It's very irritating and I've found that I use this less and less out of its inconvenience. I wish someone would make a small well-made 2 slice toaster-oven. I would readily replace it if something came out that was well-rated...still waiting.

Bought it primarily for space reasons. The toaster was OK, but not great. The oven temperature goes immediately to high, no real control. Now after two years, the oven no longer works. The control lights up, but there is no heat.

We bought this unit to replace an old Black & Decker that finally died. We have had this unit for a while (maybe 2 years) but we now have to replace it because the toggle to switch between toast and oven has broken. We use both the toast and oven functions about equally. I will echo another reviewer's criticism of the toaster: it doesn't toast evenly, the bread or other item (most often a frozen waffle) curls in the toast cage, and it doesn't pop up properly because when it curls it gets stuck. Also, I was disappointed that I couldn't use the toast cycle to heat up other items like a slice of pizza or a pizza bagel. You can't really turn the pizza sideways to stick it in the toaster slot/cage (unless you want a mess to clean up). So you lay the pizza flat on the oven rack. But when you press the toaster button down to start the toast cycle, the toast-holder cage pushes all the way down to the oven rack and smooshes the pizza. So you need to use the oven setting instead, and set a separate timer to make sure you don't burn the food. I will say the oven itself is good for cooking small amounts of frozen foods like fish sticks or chicken nuggets that don't do well in the microwave and don't require a full-size oven.
