Best toaster I ever had

shopped for 5 months before purchasing...read consumer reports, amazon reviews, looked for sales..wanted a long slotted toaster that wouldn't break and functioned well. Have had my last Kitchen aid toaster for around 15 years...was still working, but made horrible noises, didn't toast as well, and was melting the plastic on top
