Breville 2-slice toaster

This Breville is solid on the outside, it features the nice look option, and the a little more one. Unfortunately some components (lights and slider) are flimsy or failed: some of the lights on top of the slider have failed and the slider just came off completely. It has been purchased in a well known gourmet store and so I am returning it for an exchange. Hopefully, I was just unlucky and got a defective one. Other than that, I like this toaster.

The controls read 1-8 however really only 1, 2, and 3 are useful. Anything else is a cremate setting. After two years of use, now one panel is blazingly hot and the other 4 are very weak. This means burned toast. Too bad I'm past the one year warranty.
