I love that I can use the large slices of sour dough bread and not have to cut off the edges to make it fit. I had a Kitchen Aid toaster that I had to go to 1 1/2 cycles to make a decent slice of toast. This toaster works great so far. I love the look of it, long and sleek.

I tested a number of the more highly rated and more expensive toasters, all two slot. NONE of them toasted a single slice evenly. I went on-line and discovered that the two slot design makes it hard for the toaster to toast one slice evenly. This was the only one slot toaster I could find, so I bought it and tried it and lo and behold! it did the trick. Highly recommended if you sometimes toast only one slice and find uneven toasting frustrating.

The unit worked perfectly for the first few months and then stopped toasting on one side and finally died completely. Granted, I only paid[$] for the unit but I expected to last longer than this!
