Comment:
I bought this toaster due to the ratings on this website, but I've asked for a new toaster for Christmas to replace this horrible thing! The holes are way too small for what I would call normal width bread. Does not toast evenly. The bread does not come up enough so you can get it out. EVERY single time, I have to unplug the thing and take a fork to pry out the bread! The look and feel of it is also very cheap.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Comment:
I bought this because of the CU rating. Unfortunately, I didn't check User Reviews first. It does not toast evenly. It is very slow. The inner coils appear not to be working. While it has a warranty, it would cost about what I paid for it to pay postage both ways

Bottom Line
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

No good for bagels

Bought because of CR review. Despite pix showing bagels, will not do bagel store bagels. Slots not wide enough; bagels constantly get stuck. So-so for toast. Highest setting (6) gets medium brown. Will put in garage and resurrect my old Hamilton Beach.
