We bought the washer/dryer set to replace an older gold Sears Kenmore set. With pride we gave the old set to a young couple with small kids to get them started.What a mistake! Our Maytag Bravo has been just a piece of junk. We had it repaired 3 months after we bought it. It stopped drying the clothes. Now we are 2 weeks past the warrantee and it has stopped drying the clothes again. We called [@] thinking it was still under warrantee. Its now 2 weeks past the warrantee period, and if the repairman charges us more than we can afford to pay to have this dryer fixed every few months, we are putting it on the side of the curb for the garbage man today.Oh, and the gold Sears Kenmore set we gave away last fall is still working fine.

Comment:
This unit dries clothes quickly, about 2/3 the time of my old dryer. Bulky items take longer but the drying time is reasonable. I like the extra touch of a light inside the drum. One problem is the felt gasket on the lint filter is failing and will have to be replaced.
