The iron is used for two people so it has not had heavy use. It is not old yet is no longer working and I am of course disappointed. <br /><br />I will not recommend this steam iron to anyone.

I used this for general ironing and after a little over a month the steam button got stuck in the down position and, in general, it wasn't a good steamer. Don't buy it if you want a good steam.
