Comment:
The power cord shorted out where it enters the iron after about 3 years. ORECK doesnt sell a replacement cord so they recommend we trade it in for a new one for which they will give a discount. Gotta love those non-union Chinese iron makers.....

Comment:
I use this iron for weekly ironing of my and my husband's clothes.<br />I also use it almost daily for sewing quilt blocks and other fabric projects.<br />Because I have had it only a month, it still feels a little clumsy, but it <br />steams beautifully. The no stick soleplate does not stick, as my previous<br />iron did. I am beginning to like the stand and cordless feature, too.
