I have had two of these irons & neither iron lasted a year. I have bought much cheaper irons & they last years. Both of the Rowenta irons that I have owned acted the same way before it finally stopped working. It heats up & only stays hot long enought to iron a sleeve then it cools down immediatly & starts leaking water all of the garment causing stains. I thought Rowenta was a good name but now i know better. I will not buy another one of their products & will be sure to tell all my family & friends not to waste their money on their products. They simply are not worth it!!!

The instruction booklet, does not give instruction...
just shows pictures which is ineffective.
Iron leaked water everytime I used it. I did not over fill it. Could not iron one piece of goods without it getting it wet.

Worked once. a few weeks later after the warranty expired used again and it would shut off and not restart. Finally had to buy a new one iron. Better use of money would be lottery tickets. Will never buy a Rowenta again

love this iron for the price. I've had many irons and has paid much to four times as much as I paid for this one. For the price, this is the best. It outperformed 95% of the irons I've owned.

Clothes look like they have been ironed well. Ironing is not my favorite task, but this iron made the job easier.
Weakness
After about 2 weeks, the iron started leaking. A lot. Around the bottom and the area where the retractable plug is located.
I could not find a lot of information about the Rowenta irons. I read an article in a magazine and this iron was recommended. I did like the ease of use, but I definitely did not like the leaking part. I remember reading one article that mentioned how Rowenta irons leak, but I had to see for myself.
