Comment:
I'm a quilter so use the iron for pressing fabrics after washing and then as I piece quilt tops. I inherited this iron, brand new in the original packaging less than a year ago. Up until last week I thought it was the best thing since rotary cutters, and then overnight it began leaking like the Titanic. Now, mind you, I used the iron infrequently since quilting is a hobby, used only distilled water in it, and emptied it out if I was not going to use it for an extended period. I am so crushed. I thought I had finally found an iron I could depend on... Next step, see if Rowenta has any recommendations. I would be thrilled to revise my review, but at this point I would advise steering clear of the Focus model.

While it works, it's a great iron. I bought one and it died within a year. I thought it must be defective, so I exchanged it for another, which did the exact same thing! Ironing for a family of four shouldn't require a 6-12 mo. replacement!

I iron all my dress work shirts once a week and at first was in love with this iron. Then it started leaking and heating unevenly. I tried to return it for another iron but the stores would take it back because it was over a year old. I feel for what I paid for this iron it should have lasted much much longer. Tried sending it back to the company and it was returned without even opening it and trying to figure out what was wrong with it. Will get a new iron for Christmas and DO NOT want one of these. Their customer service stinks.

While costing more than your average iron in a discount store, you truly get what you pay for. A brand name known for its ironing products, and a quality-built iron not made in Asia. The glide of the stainless steel plate is effortless, and should remain so for years. Recommend to anyone looking for an all-around, high-quality iron.

ROWENTA QUALITY-HEAT AND FINALLY AN IRON WITH MAXIMUM STEAM!!
Weakness
A LITLE HEAVY.
I OWN A LAUNDRY & IRONING BUSINESS AND PREFER STEAM TO STARCH. I LOVE THIS IRON AND HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE, ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE LARGE AMOUNTS IF IRONING AND WANT A NICE CRISP LOOK WITHOUT STARCH. IT HAS CUT MY TIME DOWN CONSIDERABLY.
