Comment:
I purchased this iron base on CR recommendation also. I use it on a daily basis. It leaks nasty water deposits on my clothes and the teflon soleplate is stained and I can't get it clean. I am throwing it out and buying a different brand of iron.

Comment:
I've had this iron over a year, maybe longer. I like the way it works but every few months it stains my clothes with mineral deposits. With spot cleaner they do come out but it is a pain. Not only do I have to stop to get the stains out, then I have to clean the iron - take out the valve and soak it for four hours in vinegar. Which means I can't iron for that time. I'm just going to take it back and get another iron. I'm 58 years old and never had this problem with any other iron I've owned.

Comment:
scorched a piece not long ago and cannot get the burn residue (50 cent piece size) off the bottom no matter what I use. On higher settings, residue comes off on clothes. Have had to rewash numerous pieces. Will throw iron out today and buy another brand.
