At first very happy on how the vacuum picked up pet hair, my carpets actually looked shiney. However, the tool to use on stairs can only work in one direction and the roller frequently stopped rolling. After only three uses I had to take it back the hose broke at the point where it was to coneected to the machine. Very disappointed.
