About - Bissell Lift-Off Multi-Cyclonic Pet 89Q9
As its name implies, this 22-pound bagless upright is intended to excel at removing animal hair and fur. It has manual pile adjustment, so you can raise and lower the machine to adjust to different carpet heights; doing so often makes the vacuum easier to move back and forth, and may help the machine to clean more efficiently. The Bissell Lift-Off Multi-Cyclonic Pet 89Q9 features a full-bin indicator and a HEPA filter, which blocks fine particles and may benefit people with allergies. This model lacks suction control, a feature many find helpful when vacuuming delicate curtains and upholstery. There is a brush on/off switch, so you can stop the brush from spinning on uncarpeted floors, where it tends to disperse dirt before the machine can suck it up. The power switch is not easy-to-reach and the 30-foot cord does not retract automatically.

Comment:
I bought this vacuum because it looked like a good one that would do well with pet hair. It sucks up great. BUT I use the hose and attachments often. I vacuum my house atleast 2 to 3 times a day. This hose is the worst design i have ever seen. If you do not use your hose and attchments then this would be a great buy. I am returning it back to the store this weekend.

Comment:
clogs frequently and is very noisy, dust goes everywhere because you have to stick your hand up into the motor to get the pet hair out. I am sorry I purchased this and feel like demanding my money back from the company.

Comment:
For the price you cannot beat this vacuum. I have owned it for a number of years. On-line now looking for parts... straight axle brush is worn out. It will pick-up anything from sheetrock dust to pet hair. However, be prepared to change that $10 hepa filter once per month. This vacuum has also survived my 3 kids. I am very pleased with the price versus performance.
