Comment:
We had it for 3 and 1/2 years and it broke. We were given an estimate to fix it from GE for $1,502.89. We bought it for around $620.00. GE offered no sympathy that there expensive product lasted less than half the life of the worst machine. We will never purchase a GE appliance again.

My "old" Whirlpool was better

Cons
Long Cycle

To weak to spin well

Comment:
When our Whirlpool Duet broke we went out to the store to get this washer. It washes just fine but is not strong enough to spin the wet load. Especially if there are only towels, or a bunch of jeans in the load. It will either bounch and thump around until one stops the cycle, or it will spin at a lower setting and thus leave the load so wet it takes almost 2 hours to dry. Each load after washing needs to go through a seperate cycle of Drain and Spin to get more water out of it. I have also noticed that the time display sometimes keeps adding minutes as the cycle moves along making some loads run for almost 1 1/2 hrs each. That is way too long. This washer needs improvement. I would not recommend this washer to anyone.

Good but rocky!

Pros
Adjustable Settings
Clean Clothes Well
Energy Efficient
Large Capacity
Spins Clothes Dry
Cons
Shakes/Moves
Best Uses
Delicates
Everyday Clothes
Comment:
The unit cleans well, is not loud, and overall has performed well to date (1 1/2 years old). With heavy loads it thumps and rocks and slides around. We try to adjust the load but with a front loader it is hard to distribute the weight, especially when the load is wet.
