Luckily I purchased the extended warranty. It first broke down after 6 months, then again within another two months of the first repair and it went downhill from there. The codes were F 71 & F21 to name a few. 8+ repair calls later, the warranty company in help with the store's help where we purchased the item, agreed to cut us a check so we can purchase a new one.

Had it just over a year. Bearing went bad. Don't buy this or similar models! Very cheaply built with poor basket/bearing design.

This is the worst machine I have ever owned. Every other cycle gets an error code and it takes hours of restarting the machine to finish one load. Purchased a two year warranty and after 6 visits from a tech and multiple calls to Maytag we are still stuck with a junk machine and an expired warranty. Paid way to much for this poor quality washer!
