Comment:
I bought this product because it had good reviews from owners in other places different from CR.
I was a little worried since consumer reports gave it a low calification based on the fact that using it only as a booster did not provide good protection for the children (while using the back was Very Good) and that it was hard to assemble. I bought it because you can use it in highback mode for the same weight and height of the children that the booster mode allows. That beats the not so good reviews of using the carseat as a booster. Remember that this carseat has Very Good reviews in Front Crash Test. Another fact is that it passed UK mandatory side crash tests.
The textile is good but it looks weaker than the maxi-cosi mico's. The Cover is very easy to remove and clean.
You can recline the back of the seat along with the seat of your car. This is a very convenient feature. My kid (3 years old) sleeps well in this carseat. The carseat is very stable, at least in the Honda Odyssey and CR-V seats.
Read the instructions, it is very easy to assemble it, but you have to read them. Do not make assumptions. The back does not snap into position by pressure. You have to assemble it on a table and put the back on the booster by reclining it more than 180 degrees at the edge of the table. At that angle it will connect without making any effort.
Maybe having the LATCH standard would have made this seat even better.
The cup holder is very easy to install and detatch (read the instructions) but it seats a little away from the seat, making hard to put another carseat right by its side. As a workaround you can change the positioning of the cup holder to the door side, especially in cars with lots of space. If it bothers you do not install it.

I love this product.
