Comment:
Our daughter is awfully comfortable in this seat, and we have great confidence in its safety. The problem is that it's the size of a small car--the side air bags take up an enormous amount of space. It's less bulky when it faces forward, but be warned--this thing is anabolic steroids big. We've flown with it several times, and while it does fit into an airplane seat (we've dragged it from coast to coast using a GoGo Kidz Travelmate), the Advocate does pose a challenge when you're simultaneously trying to shepherd a toddler and heft the seat down a narrow aisle. For the next child, we may go with the Britax Boulevard, just because of its slightly slimmer profile.

Comment:
This is a very comfortable seat for toddlers. We bought this for our first daughter as she was transitioning from an infant seat. It is very difficult to install rearfacing and didn't seem to anchor as well as forward facing. We're very happy with it as a forward facing seat and our daughter seems to like it as well, as she generally falls asleep shortly after being strapped in. We will buy this seat again when our twins are ready however it will be when they're ready to face forward.

Comment:
Originally we used this as rear facing in my wife's Vibe. It's incredibly large and takes up a LOT of Room (i can't fit in the passenger seat). but once we moved it to front facing it's much better. Adjustability is a cinch and the straps release easily (but not as easy as out Chicco 30). I'm not sold on the side bumpers as they take up a lot of room and i don't know how beneficial they'd be. In hindsight i may have been happier with the boulevard CS instead.
