We have owned this seat since day one with our son, he came home in it as an 8 lb+ newborn and it was a perfect fit. He is now 2 and it still is a perfect fit! I love how easy the straps are to adjust with the 'wheel' on the side. So many times he would be in bulky clothes and a big cloth diaper and we have to loosen it but then be in different clothes the next time he gets in and it was a a breeze to change! BUY THIS SEAT!!!<br />We take it in and out of the car with no issues, latch system or seatbelt, you feel safe and secure either way. Now this is being passed on to his younger sibling and we are off to find a new car seat for him :(

I have owned this seat for 3 yrs come May and I love it! The complaint about it being a daily pain in the butt because of having to install it is mainly because toddler seats aren't made to install every time you use it. But thats besides the point. All 3 of my children (ages 3,2, and 7 months) have this seat, all of them sit comfortably with no complaints and it is great for if weather is up and down since you can adjust everything to fit their winter coats with ease. The cover is easy to take off and clean and looks like new after and I love all the straps for securing to the vehicles seats and because I am a crazy over protective mom I use all of them and the seat belts though I was told you didn't need to. The only one thing I have found about this that I don't like is that in the seat cover where the flap is by their butts the padding can bunch in the wash. This can be put back after a little bit of messing with it since you can't open it to fix but I did find by hand sewing a couple notches into it to hold it in place I no longer have this problem. My children have all started using this seat from 5 months on and my oldest will probably still fit it nicely for another 2 years. My sister also had this seat but the model right before this exact one, it fit my nephew till he was 4 (by their choice) and held up to 1 small accident and 1 very big accident that totaled their large expedition. Love these seats, even more so since you don't need a crazy color or pattern for it to look nice.

I have not experienced any of the things the other reviewers complained about. If you cannot get it properly installed yourself, take it to an organization that will do it for you which is actually a good idea anyway since 90% of car seats get installed incorrectly.<br /><br />It adjusts soooo easily for height as they grow. Tightening and loosening straps is also very easy. I have purchased two of these now and would highly recommend to anyone. <br /><br />I have used several car seats and researched extensively and assure you this is the best car seat for your money. You can pay more for the Britax brand if it makes you feel better but there is no reason to. This seat is great and I love it.<br /><br />The only negative I feel it has is it will not go up to 50 tall as stated unless your child is 80% legs. Which is fine since the next step is a 5 pt booster anyway. I put both of my boys in this seat at about 9 months. The older son I took out when he was a little over 3 and will do the same with my two year old who is currently in the Triumph now. I will also be putting our infant daughter in this when she's ready.<br /><br />Both of my sons were comfortable in them and we take several 10-13 hour trips every year. The slept easily for hours at a time.<br /><br />The cover comes off so easily and washed up great in the washing machine.<br /><br />It is a very safe and practical seat.
