The diagonal length of the display screen measured in inches and rounded to the nearest tenth on an inch.
Spoken street names:
Commonly referred to as "Text-to-Speech," this helpful feature is the ability to pronounce proper street names. For example, a system with this feature would say, "Turn right on Truman Avenue" rather than, "Turn right in 500 feet." Great thing is the speed limit display, especially in Europe.
Annoying thing is the price of map updates and their slow implementation (almost 3 hours of computer time)
The fuel price units in ecoRoute do not change with the country. I used the unit first in Czech Republic and since that the fuel price is shown only in Czech K

Comment:
Usually it is reliable with directions, however our friend's home in Arizona (Marana) is not on the map.

Not so good finding a Starbucks on I5 in CA, not sure about other places.

Sometimes the suction cup on the windshield fails the abruptness of this is a real distraction from driving.

Long time to get a signal, frequently loses signal, sometimes has you driving on a different road than you are on, sometimes spins or has you movning on a different road when you're stopped - weird
Bought this product new but it had the significant problems listed under weaknesses, had them swap it out - replacement was the same, in the process of trying to get a warranty swap, been on Garmin hold now for 35 minutes*** BEWARE *** This product is not of a quality to be commercially sold. Pretty much amounts to thievery by Garmin.(Note I have purchased 3 other Garmin GPSes. All work/worked great. Not this one. Stay away or make sure you buy from a place where you can return it.)
