Comment:
We bought this unit 3 years ago. We've had a lot of interesting experiences with this device and caught it too many times giving bad info. It once literally took us through cornfields. Look for a model rated superior in navigation because that's what matters most.

Comment:
PROS: This device is useful even on trips we have made many times. It shows current speed (useful to check car's speedometer) and speed limit. The trip info tells driving time, stopped time, total time, total distance (useful to check car's odometer).

CONS: It's ackward to deviate from the preferred route. My solution is to stop the trip and restart. Then it calculates the trip from where I actually am. The altitude function is unreliable.

This thing is way more useful (fun) than I expected.
