Comment:
Purchased this unit as a Christmas gift. As we tried to set it up for the user, couldn't load the entire US map, only sections which were usually 5 state clusters. We were setting this up for a trip from NY to Florida. In this case, you would have to stop and load the required maps at least 3 times. When you reach the end of the loaded maps, you are out in nowhere, no map. I have never seen a GPS system work like this one, even my 10 year old one doesn't do this. I would stay away from this unit if you do road trips. It is also slow to respond to inputs. Need I say, we returned this immediately. Store clerks were also shocked at how this one worked.
How long have you owned it:
A month or less
Bottom Line
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
