fairly easy to use. cost extra to update map, canceling out low cost for device. does not like heat, cold, any temperature changes. locks up frequently, eventually would not load.

Works great. updates impossible. Eventhough I have purchased unit with lifetime updates, Garmin makes it impossible to obtain updates without buying new ones.

Comment:
We use this GPS on short trips as well as multi-state trips. At times it indicates I'm on a certain highway when in reality I'm 2 - 4 miles away on a different highway altogether. A restart usely corrects this. And at times it has taken me to dead end roads that were cut off many years ago, yet telling me to contine on as if the road was not a dead end. Otherwise this is an OK GPS for the price. We live in mountains and often enjoy the Altitude feature. The Eco Routing is interesting but I'm not convinced of it's accuracy either. I've owned Garmin Nuvi and TomTom and find TomTom to be much more accurate, but lacking some features.
