I've owned and used it for 16 months, in both Europe and US. Generally it is fine, but the following things have really bugged me: (a) difficult to get to volume and brightness controls; (b) sequential menus force you to go through every menu choice with no ability to jump back to the beginning except to step backwards; (c) touch screen not very sensitive - often have to press very hard; (d) battery status info limited to microscopic icon in corner- useless; (e) no way to know what it thinks its current destination is -- if you have doubts you simply have to program the destination again from the beginning; (f) no way to know how it is routing you; (g) no way to get to a large scale picture except by stepping through jillions of magnification steps one by one (then later, back down again); (h) worst of all, the power plug in the back is terrible and often you're not plugged in when you thought you were -- leading to nasty surprises; (i) short battery life; (j) the thing rolled over and died last week in the middle of a trip, causing great trouble. Other than these complaints, it has been accurate except in cases where recent construction changed the roads; it is amazingly accurate in routing you through old European cities that have twisty, narrow, oneway streets and the route from A to B is absurdly complicated. The pronunciation of European street names is hilarious and unintelligible. From the CU reviews, i would guess the other devices are about the same.

Priced right if you need Europe maps.<br />Touch screen is not responsive enough to the touch. Found difficult to find addresses 99% of the time- better than most per the people we visited in Italy
