I use this product on out of town trips. I experiemented with it in my home city (Edmonton) and found it did not find optimal routes, but it got you there. If this is similar for other cities, than I guess it's better than being lost. It doesn't reroute very well and tends to be a bit stubborn (how many times can you hear turn around before you turn it off!) I like to have it, and generally it works pretty well. Some addresses it cannot find (including my home) which is odd. I've come across this issue in various places, and it's a pain if you save a location it doesn't believe is correct (like my brother-in-law's house) and then it gives you n/a when you want to navigate there. Hey, for [$], it's pretty good!

I Like the human voices best but the computer voices can say the street names. The hook up to Tom Tom Home was seamless and didn't take long. The visuals are great , I love it.

All things considered, this is easy to use and a great price. I like that it says ahead of time the turns coming up and then again upon approach. I also like that it silently recalculates to the destination when you have to go offcourse. One thing I don't love is the mount, requires 2 hands and it's hard to tell if it's actually docked correctly. Also, requires clean glass to stick to which is not handing in the boyfriend's car or a rental. Would prefer a slip on vent mount.
